Create a Cyclical Inspection

Cyclical inspections can be created for work that occurs at regular intervals, such as routine inspections. Cyclical inspections can be created from individual inspections, or the administrator can define a work cycle on the inspection template so that cyclical inspections are automatically created. See Configure Cyclical Inspections in the Designer for 15.8 Guide for more information.

  1. Open the inspection.
  2. Click the Details tab.
  3. Scroll to the Work Cycle section.
  4. From the Repeat drop-down list, select how often you want the interval to repeat: Never, Once, or Every.
  5. In the Interval fields, select how often you want the interval to repeat by entering a number and selecting Days, Weeks, Months, or Years from the drop-down list.
  6. Select the date from which you want the interval to begin: from the Actual Finish Date, from the Projected Start Date, or you can Pick a Date. If you select Pick a Date, select the date using the calendar icon or enter it in the field.

EXAMPLE

If you want to schedule an inspection once every two months, select Every from the Repeat drop-down list and enter 2 in the Interval field. Select Months from the interval drop-down list.

  1. Click Save.
